Pearl Academy of Fashion, one of India’s leading fashion and design institutes, is organising its largest national level inter school talent hunt competition “Creative Pearls” for the students of standard X, XI and XII. Students from all over India and abroad can participate. The competition includes essay writing, T-shirt designing, paper bag painting and mobile video making.
Creative Pearls is an annual initiative from Pearl Academy of Fashion and is aimed at encouraging creativity and design thinking among school students. The objective is to nurture the future professionals in this area, and to accelerate the process of enrichment by providing them a common and effective platform to show their creativity.
During the declaration for online participation in the competition, Dr. A.K.G. Nair, Group Director, Pearl Academy of Fashion, said, “Creative Pearls is organised every year with an objective of identifying and recognising the future creative professional and to accelerate and nurture the process of enrichment of their knowledge by providing them a proper and effective platform. This year, we have decided to scale up the event through online and evolve it into one which gains resonance in various cities across the country.”
The online registration for this competition is open till 27 January 2011 and submissions have to be done by 08 February 2011. Jury awards will be presented to the students for each category. The prizes will be announced on 20 February 2011.
